Alternative Investmentfonds

Alternative Investments bezeichnen Kapitalanlagen, die über die klassischen Möglichkeiten der Geldanlage am Kapitalmarkt (Aktien, Geldmarktpapiere, verzinsliche Wertpapiere) hinausgehen. Unter den Sammelbegriff Alternative Investments können unter anderem Hedgefonds, Private Equity oder Rohstofffonds fallen. Das Ziel von Alternative Investments ist es, bei jeder Marktlage Gewinne zu erwirtschaften, also auch von Bärenmärkten zu profitieren. Zu diesem Zweck kommen auch komplexe Finanzinstrumente zum Einsatz. Alternative Investments geben sich nicht damit zufrieden, eine Benchmark zu schlagen. Dem höheren Anlagerisiko von Alternative Investments steht ein grösseres Gewinnpotenzial gegenüber.
